About MarfaMust Artist Weekend
MarfaMUST Artist Weekend, May 29-30, Marfa, Texas MarfaMUST Artist Weekend is an artist-centered program taking place May 29–30, 2026, bringing together open studios, group exhibitions, events, and gatherings that celebrate and support Marfa artists, past and present. Centered on the theme Homecoming , the weekend positions Marfa as an artistic alma mater, reconnecting artists who have shaped the town’s creative landscape across generations.
About MarfaMUST
MarfaMUST, or Marfa Untitled Studio Tour, is an artist-led initiative producing biannual sculpture gardens at Lannan Park and site-specific group exhibitions featuring Marfa-based artists. Central to the program is the artist open studio, guided by the philosophy of “going to the source” and encouraging deeper engagement with art and the artists behind it. The initiative creates opportunities for audiences to enter the spaces where work begins and experience art at its origin.
Founded in spring 2024 by Jeanhee Yu, Dim Zayan, and Guy Sealey, MarfaMUST has continued under the direction of Yu and Zayan from 2024 summer forward. Since its launch, MarfaMUST’s autumn programming has been included in Chinati Weekend in both 2024 and 2025, expanding the visibility of Marfa-based artists to a broader audience.
